MEET THE EXPERTS

KAREN

Karen’s first experience in the dry cleaning industry came when she joined Jeeves in 1982. Initially, Karen worked in the packaging department, before moving into the quality control and inspection team. Karen then moved into the spot cleaning department where she became wedding dress specialist. Over the years, Karen has worked with some of the world’s most recognisable wedding dresses- something she is very proud of. In 2017, Karen was promoted to Excellence Centre Manager and now looks after all of our cleaning departments. Her proudest moment was working on the outfits behind the scenes at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in London. When she has time away from the business, Karen is a keen gardener and also enjoys crocheting hats for newborn babies at her local hospital.

BIOMA

Bioma has been working in the dry cleaning industry since 1986. He joined Jeeves in 2013 and quite swiftly became head of the spot cleaning (stain removal) and dry cleaning departments. His level of skill can only be acquired through years of experience and training. He is a true craftsman when it comes to stain removal. Bioma loves to surprise our clients who believe their garments are beyond rescue. His speciality is cleaning haute couture and wedding dresses. Outside of work, Bioma enjoys DIY and DJing reggae, RnB and soul and spending time with his family.

JOHN

John has been at Jeeves since 1986. He joined the business as an assistant dry cleaner before moving on to become a senior dry cleaner. John then moved into the spotting department, where he gained a passion for working with specialist, hard to treat textiles such as suede, leather and fur. This led to the creation of a standalone suede, leather and fur restoration department which John is now responsible for. As well as cleaning and restoring suede, leather and fur garments, John and his team also look after all of the handbags and accessories. When he is away from the business, John loves to spend time with his family and when he gets the chance, he enjoys getting out for a bike ride.
