Fur, leather and suede garments need to be properly stored during the warm, humid months, in order to prolong their lifespan and protect your investment. If improperly stored, the skins can dry out from excessive heat and humidity.
Garments that are trimmed with fur, such as Canada Goose coats, should also be stored under these conditions.
Jeeves cold storage service keeps your precious garments at 45° F and 45% humidity which is the perfect environment for storing fur, suede and leather garments.
Jeeves recommends cleaning your garments prior to storage unless they were not worn or lightly worn during the cold months. Our workroom can hand-clean all fur garments and properly care for leather and suede garments.
Each garment accepted for cold storage is inspected, repairs made (upon your approval), placed in a breathable garment bag and stored in our cold-storage vault. An itemized docket is given to you for each garment. In the Fall, contact Jeeves for delivery back to your home.
